Follow these instructions to maximize the sale of your jewellery items.

Step 1: Get Your Jewellery Appraised

Find a qualified jewellery appraiser and have your jewellery appraised for it’s retail replacement value. Make sure the appraiser’s name, address and credentials are clearly indicated on the appraisal document. Appraisals must be less than 3 years old. Your item must be described in detail. All damage must be disclosed in the appraisal report or in the listing.

Step 2: Take some good pictures

Your listing will need a few pictures. The better they are, the easier it will be for potential buyers to judge the condition of your piece of jewellery. Make sure to clean your item thoroughly before you take your pictures. Clear close-ups are best. If you are having trouble, follow Our Guide for Taking Great Jewellery Pictures.
